A twisting vertical figure rises from the wood through elongated limbs, sweeping curves, and sharply carved transitions. Portions of the original material remain visible within the composition, allowing the sculpture to retain a strong connection to the natural character of the wood. Open spaces cut through the form, creating shifting silhouettes that change from different viewpoints. The upward movement of the figure is reinforced by the sculpture’s tall proportions and continuous directional flow.
