Working primarily in oil on canvas, Dea Tili approaches painting as both an act of observation and an act of interpretation. A chair, a table, a window, a collection of tools, or a partially occupied room may serve as a starting point, but each composition gradually develops its own internal logic. Objects are selected, arranged, and revisited not only for their physical characteristics, but also for the stories they suggest.

The studio itself occupies a central place in Tili's practice. Many of her paintings reflect an ongoing fascination with creative spaces and the traces left behind by artistic activity. Easels, materials, unfinished works, masks, sculptures, and working tools appear repeatedly throughout her compositions, revealing an environment where ideas are constantly being tested, revised, and transformed.
